Questions
Is this an official government service?
No. BidWatch Daily is independent. Every contract comes from official public sources (SAM.gov, state bid boards and city, county and school district websites) and links to the original notice.
Where do the contracts come from?
SAM.gov for federal work; state procurement portals such as Illinois, New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, Massachusetts and Tennessee; city open-data feeds like New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco; and thousands of local government, housing authority, school and college bid pages.
Do I need anything to bid?
For federal contracts your business needs an active SAM.gov registration, which is free. States and cities usually ask you to register as a vendor on their portal; each notice explains how.
What does “set aside for small businesses” mean?
The agency only accepts bids from small companies, so you compete against firms your size. We mark who can bid on every contract.
Do I need a password?
No. You can log in with a link we email you. You can add a password later in your account.
How do I stop the emails?
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can change how often we write in Alerts.
